Inside Our Glacier Nalu Tiny Home Rentals
Our tiny homes have all the comforts of home, in a comfortable compact size. Walking into your tiny home, you will immediately appreciate the cleanliness and light and airy atmosphere. Both homes are temperature controlled to keep you cool in the summer and cozy warm in the winter. Kitchens are equipped with pots and pans, dishes, cups, coffee makers, and other kitchen necessities.
Tiny Home Tenakee – Spacious Comfort & Relaxation
Tiny Home Tenakee boasts a separate living space with a small couch (that converts into a bed) and a TV. There is also a dining area, spacious kitchen equipped with a large farm sink, an apartment sized refrigerator, a propane stove, and a microwave. The bathroom contains a large soaker tub to unwind in after a long day of hiking.
Tiny Home Dyea – Compact Charm with Big Views
Tiny Home Dyea is a bit more compact. Here, you walk into a small living area with a comfortable chair where you can sit and enjoy the view from the large sliding glass door. From here, you have a stunning view of the peaceful rainforest landscape. There is also a dining table for you to enjoy your meals with that same view. The kitchen contains an apartment sized refrigerator, microwave, and an electric stove top. The bathroom contains a closet where you can hang clothes if desired.
Loft Bedrooms & Sleeping Comfort in Our Tiny Homes
As you explore more of your tiny home rental, you will come to the upstairs sleeping areas. Both tiny homes contain at least one loft bedroom, all of which are outfitted with luxuriously soft bedding. These lofts are not at full standing height but are incredibly comfortable for sitting up in bed, resting, and sleeping. Due to the numerous windows and light window coverings to give you privacy but still keep the space feeling light and airy, Glacier Nalu provides complimentary sleep masks.
To access the main sleeping area in Tenakee you will need to climb up a steep set of stairs to the larger loft. This loft contains a comfortable queen size mattress. There are extra blankets in a storage shelf in the loft. There is room for your suitcase upstairs, though some people prefer to leave their clothes in the downstairs bathroom so they can stand up fully when changing.
Tenakee also contains a secondary sleeping area accessible by built-in ladder. Once you climb the ladder you will find a cozy space complete with a full size mattress made up for you.
Tiny Home Dyea has one sleeping loft accessible by a steep set of stairs. At the top of the stairs, there is a landing area where you can stand upright (depending on your height). Once seated on your bed, you will be able to sit up comfortably but not stand. Like Tenakee, there is room for your suitcase upstairs, though you may opt to store it in the closet downstairs to make changing easier.
