GROUNDSKEeper:

SCHEDULE: 

Winter Hours: 20-32 hours per week; Summer Hours: 32-40 hours per week

START DATE: November 1st, 2024 (flexible)

COMPENSATION: $22-$25/hour, DOE  

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the campground. This role involves daily upkeep, landscaping, building and property maintenance, and customer service to ensure a pleasant experience for guests and residents.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of groundskeeping techniques and building maintenance.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment such as tractors and snow plows.
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly attitude.
• Ability to work independently and respond to issues in a timely manner.
• Flexibility with work hours, especially during the winter months with snow removal.
• Adult/Child First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Must be 21 years or older to meet auto insurance requirements. 
• Clean background check and driving record.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. 
• Capable of working in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable with manual labor, including shoveling snow, trimming trees, and performing general maintenance.
