Glacier Nalu is looking for a dedicated Groundskeeper to join our growing team in Juneau, Alaska. If you take pride in your work, enjoy working outdoors, and like maintaining and improving properties, we’d love to hear from you.

Groundskeeper:

SCHEDULE: Part-Time (under 20 hours) or Full-time available (32-40 hours)

START DATE: June 1st, 2026 (flexible)

COMPENSATION: $25-$28/hour, DOE + complimentary RV site pad for a full-time position (must provide your own camper/RV and utilities).

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the campground. This role involves daily upkeep, landscaping, building and property maintenance, and customer service to ensure a pleasant experience for guests and tenants.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of groundskeeping techniques and building maintenance.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills, including replacing fuses and checking/replacing electrical receptacles.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment such as tractors and snow plows.
• Ability to track and manage maintenance equipment and supplies.
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly attitude.
• Ability to work independently and respond to issues in a timely manner.
• Flexibility with work hours, especially during the winter months with snow removal.
• Must be 21 years or older to meet auto insurance requirements.
• Clean background check and driving record.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs+
• Capable of working in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable with manual labor including, but not limited to: using a chainsaw for trimming trees, using a weedeater, shoveling snow, and performing general maintenance.
