Glamping tents are also a great option for those on a budget, but not wanting to bring all their own camping gear. While a nightly hotel in Juneau can run you around $300-$400 per night, a glamping tent starts at $80 per night.
Glacier Nalu Glamping Tent Setup
Each glamping tent site includes:
- 12×12 ft. canvas tent with an 8 ft. center height, set on an elevated platform
- Comfortable memory foam mattress pad
- Sleeping quilts & pillows
- Two Yeti camping chairs and a coffee table
- Yeti cooler (for the food and drinks that you bring)
- Two lanterns
Next to your tent, you’ll find a shared covered outdoor camp kitchen with:
- Grill and camp stove
- Sink and prep area
- Tables and chairs
- Electric pedestal for charging devices
Bear Safety at Glacier Nalu
There is a bear cache to store your food safely at the office.The yeti cooler in your tent should be used for drinks and/or prepackaged food. You can also opt to store food in your car but be sure to lock the doors as bears can open car doors!
What to Pack for Your Juneau Glamping Trip

What’s Not Included in Glacier Nalu Glamping
Our glamping tents do not have electricity inside. This means:
- No in-tent heating (but plenty of blankets are provided)
