Relax, Recharge & Warm Up in Our New Rainforest Sauna
Have you heard about the latest amenity at Glacier Nalu Campground?
We’re excited to introduce our new Rainforest Sauna, a relaxing space designed to help you unwind after a day of exploring Alaska’s incredible outdoors.
Included as part of your stay at Glacier Nalu Campground, the sauna offers the perfect place to warm up, recharge, and enjoy a little extra comfort during your Alaskan adventure.
Dry or Wet Sauna—Your Choice
There is nothing quite like stepping into a warm sauna after a cool Alaskan day.
Our Rainforest Sauna can be enjoyed as either a dry or wet sauna depending on your preference. Looking to warm up after a rainy adventure? Simply turn on the sauna and enjoy the dry heat.
Want a little more intensity? Once the sauna has reached temperature, add a few ladles of water to the rocks to create steam and elevate the experience.
Benefits of Sauna Use
In addition to being incredibly relaxing, regular sauna use may offer several wellness benefits.
Stress Relief
Research has shown that regular sauna sessions may help reduce symptoms of stress and anxiety, improve sleep quality, and support overall mental well-being.
Muscle Recovery
After a long hike, workout, or day of adventure, sauna use may help promote circulation and support muscle recovery by increasing blood flow throughout the body.
Detoxification Through Sweating
Sauna sessions naturally encourage sweating, one of the body’s ways of eliminating unwanted substances and supporting overall wellness.
A Better Way to End the Day
Whether you’ve spent the day hiking, fishing, sightseeing, or simply enjoying campground life, the Rainforest Sauna is a great place to slow down and relax.
We invite all registered Glacier Nalu guests and tenants to enjoy this amenity and experience a little extra comfort during their stay. Book your stay today!
